Could Your Church Use Any of the Following Items?
|
Calvary Baptist Church Portales would like to donate/gift a 2002 Chevrolet Express 3500 15 passenger van. The details are: V8, 5.7 Liter, Auto Trans, RWD drivetrain.
It has some difficulties starting and needs work.

Central Baptist Church Clovis has a Bunn coffee maker available to any church that would like it. It currently does not heat the water and they do not know if it would be an easy fix. Contact the church at 575-762-4727 if interested.

Central also has some preschool curriculum (Bible Studies for Life and Exploring the Bible) available. The curriculum is dated within two years or so. They would be great for a church that does not mind curriculum that is not up-to-date or to check out some samples of these Lifeway products. Contact the church office or email Lance Myers at lance@connect2central.com.
The Tri-Area office also still has the Coverbind machine that can be used to bind materials together. If you are interested in it, contact Elaine at 575-714-7788.

You and your church's leadership team are invited to participate in an upcoming NAMB Evangelism Training in partnership with the Baptist Convention of New Mexico and the host church, Del Norte Baptist Church, as we come together to serve and strengthen local churches.
This training will focus on one of the most vital priorities of the church, equipping God's people to fulfill the Great Commission. We will introduce the Evangelism Kit, a practical tool designed to help your church cultivate a sustainable culture of evangelism.
The training will take place in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and will provide a meaningful opportunity for pastors and ministry leaders to learn, connect, and be encouraged. We have intentionally scheduled this training on a Saturday to facilitate the participation of as many lay leaders as possible and to ensure it does not interfere with the weekly work schedule. We welcome both men and women to join us for this significant time of equipping.
Please register yourself, encourage your pastoral staff and ministry leaders, and invite other pastors in your network to join us. Participation is free, but individual registration is required. A catered hot lunch will be provided, and each participant will receive an Evangelism Kit.
Reserve your spot today!

"The Harvest is abundant, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." Matthew 9:35-38 (CSB)
On September 26, 2026, the One Day Mission Trip will step into two communities where the harvest is immense and the need for the gospel is undeniable. The two areas that will be the focus for this mission trip are Roswell and the East Mountains area. Truly these fields are ripe for harvest and this day of mission is a call to labor faithfully so that many may come to know the joy of salvation.
One of the ways you can participate from your own location before that date is to PRAY. To help you in guiding your prayers for this event, you can access the January prayer guide by clicking HERE.

The Book of the Week is Peacemaking for Families (Focus on the Family) by Ken Sande (Author) with Tom Raabe. It is listed in the Marriage and Family portion of the Good Books section under the Encourage tab on the Tri-Area website.

Families fight―it’s part of the reality we face in a fallen world. What can we do about it?
In this guide, discover a wealth of advice and resources for reconciliation, all with a scriptural basis for being a peacemaker in your home.
Basic conflict-resolution skills found in Scripture can help you change your home from a battle zone to a love nest. Distinguishing between positive and negative conflict resolution, Peacemaking for Families introduces you to valuable biblical principles and easy-to-remember truths such as:
- The seven As of confession
- The four promises of forgiveness
- Knowing when and how to confront
- Learning to listen
- The PAUSE principle of negotiation
- What to do when the other party is in denial
- How to know when it is time to seek outside help
- Real-life stories and case studies
“Learning to be a peacemaker will help you guard your family from destructive conflict, deepen your love and intimacy with your spouse, and provide your children with a solid foundation for life. Most importantly, you can provide the world with a compelling witness to Jesus Christ’s reconciling power.” ―Ken Sande, author and founder of Peacemaker Ministries
There’s hope for reconciliation at home. Within both marriage and other family relationships, Peacemaking for Families will help you navigate all forms of conflict in family life.
